The Forthing will start being imported and distributed by the Auto-Industrial Group, one of the main operators in the automotive distribution sector in Portugal.
The Chinese brand Forthing, which in recent years has strongly invested in the development and commercialization of electric and electrified vehicles, is one of the brands of the Dongfeng Group, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in China, with an annual production of over 1 million vehicles.
One of the Forthing models destined for Europe is the T5 Friday (pictured), an electric SUV with a length of 4.6 meters, equipped with a 204 hp electric motor powered by an 85.9 kWh battery, and offering a range of up to 510 km.
“Throughout our more than 100 years of existence, the Auto-Industrial Group has consolidated its position as one of the main players in the automotive sector in Portugal and intends to boost sustainable growth for the next decades with this new partnership,” says Alfredo Leite Santos, member of the Board of Directors of the Auto-Industrial Group.
